Rottnest Island

Rotto is the best destination for a short holiday – also because there is not much else around Perth ;-) But, serious, Rottnest is fantastic!!



After we miss out on the German May holidays like Himmelfahrt and Pfingsten, Australia had a public holiday on the 4^th June (Foundation Day). So we went to Rottnest with a couple of friends to enjoy some very relaxing days on the Island. We have been there a couple of times already but it is always really good!!
Basically we don’t do anything much :-) sleeping in, going for a walk, swimming and doing bombies of the jetty, a bit of cycling, reading, Gin&Tonic on the balcony while watching the sunset :-), card and board games, a bit of tennis, going for a run. Nothing much really, but it is great!!! A fantastic place to relax and enjoy life!
